If you ever come across a chance to buy one, i recommend that you pick it up. Generic one word domains fetch a high price in domain name auctions. I don’t have a premium in my collection, but i have several semi premium ones.

If i had the money, i wouldn’t mind buying a pizza.com or a lotion.com. Any short one word domain would be awesome. They have to be dot coms though. Dot net and dot org extentions are not that valuable. If you could grab a single word domain dot org for like 10 bucks, then it’s worth it to snag it. But paying hundred or thousands is probably not a good idea. Not unless you have been in the game for a while.
