I just purchased the domain name imonetizing.com. I am happy with the purchase even tho i had to pay a few buck for it in the domain name forums. I think that the domain will only grow in value as more and more people try to make a few bucks online. I think that the make money online niche is very competitive. I do not want to grow a genetic copy cat money blog. I want to really try to be helpful with my new blog. I think that the right blog mixed in with the domain name could prove to be a really good combo. If you are curious about making money online, you should check out the blog in the next few weeks. I should have a few quality posts up by then.
I have mentioned before how good the idomain market is. I think that they are totally brandable and you do not have to spend that much money on the domains.

I was wondering if blougs.com is worth anything. I picked up this domain at ebay not too long ago. I liked it because it can be pronounced blogs. It is also a dot com extension and i can see it becoming a web 2.0 type of social networking site for bloggers. I think that blogging will become popular. I mentioned before about the potential for blog dot org. If i develop blougs dot com, i think that it will can grow into a site that generate steady income.
I like to compare blogcatalog to blougs dot com. If i can grow a site that is similar to mybloglog, i can make a pretty penny. Even if i don’t make a lot of money with it, i would like to grow a blogger friendly site. I think the potential for bloggers is huge. If you guys have any ideas for blougs dot com, please let me know below. Thanks.

I was reading up on some threads at namepros and i saw something that was of interest to me. Blog dot org is for sale at sedo auctions. I think that this domain has a lot of potential. The sale price is around the 50k to 75k range. It might be a bit over priced, but this domain has huge potential. Blogging is one of the most popular forms of web publishing. Since it is easy to start a blog, a lot of people are setting up their own blogs. As more and more user set up their own web sites, blogging will become something that is mainstream and lucrative.
The dot com version is obviously better, but blog dot org can be something of a social networking site for bloggers. It could be similar to mybloglog or blogcatalog. If you have around fifty thousand dollars to spare, this might be a good pick up.
The long term benefits of this domain name is huge. If i had the money, i might be interested in buying this domain and setting up a myspace or facebook for bloggers.

There were a lot of domain name investors who wanted to push the dot mobi extension. I think that they got half of the idea right. Mobile internet is going to be huge. I honestly believe that mobile internet is going to be bigger then regular internet. There are a lot more cell phones in the world then regular computers. There will be more and more web sites dedicated to these small devices. But, the internet address of choice is still dot com. People who surf the web with their cell phones still push in the dot com address. Even the iphone has a dot com button on the keypad. That is why there is no need for a dot mobi extension.
People who wanted to believe in this extention spent a lot of money investing in worthless domain names. A few of the popular single word domains sold for a nice profit, but the extension is going to be a dead one. Web site owners do not want to register the dot mobi extension. It’s just another random low level domain name extension.

It is common knowledge that google likes keyword domains. If you do some random searches online, you will find a lot of sites that are ranked #1 just because the the domain contains the search terms. I bought a few domain names just because i liked the keywords. I could either set up a new web site on that domain to be independent, or i can set it up to support another site just for the keywords.
When you grow as a web site owner, you will start understanding how google ranks your individuals sites. It is good to get up supporting blogs as well as main blogs.
You should also consider getting multiple hosting plans and different sets of ip addresses to host your collection of web sites. This will help you make money online, and it will help you with link building.

On one of my other blogs, i offered some free high quality domain names to my visitors. This created a lot of buzz for my new blog. It got me a lot of hits and links to my site. I think that the hardest part of launching a new web site is promotion. Getting your new site off the ground can be challenging but it is also very fun. It is fun to see where the traffic is coming from. It is also cool to see how you turned an empty site into a site that gets a lot of search and referred traffic.
I like to offer keyword domain names or domain names that have been aged to a certain degree. People also seem to like domains that already have google PR on them. When you are running this type of promotion, you should think about your budget. If you only want to spend a little on this domain name promotion, just give out some dot info domains. If you are interested in creating a lot of buzz, and if you have the budget, then give out some nice dot com domains.

I wanted to put together a nice list of solid domain websites. The problem with the web is that there is just too much information floating around. Most of it is all junk. But, every once in a while, you will come across a rare gem of a site. I wanted to features these sites for you up and coming domain name investors.
First of, you have to visit namepros dot com. You should become a member and start reading the threads up there. You will find a lot of info about sales and different domain markets. If you have any questions, you can address them in the forum. Even if you are a noob, you will find members who will walk you through.
DNjournal dot com is another domain name resource that you have to visit on a regular basis. The articles are fun to read and very informative. The domain sales section is something that i always refer to when i make a purchase or sale.
Ebay is an auction site. They also feature some cool domain names. Most of the domains on there are crap, but every once in a while, you’ll find a nice brandable domain. You can pick up junk domains for like 99 cents on ebay sometimes.
I also think that you can learn a lot on digitalpoint. You have to be careful cause there are a lot of scammers on that site.
This list is getting too long. I will continue with my list of solid domain websites at a later time.

I wanted to take some time on this domain blog to talk about domain name extensions. I think that most people think of the dot com extension when they think of domain names. That is why dot com versions fetch top dollars. But, you should also consider the dot net and dot org extensions in some cases. First of all, if you plan on developing a major site, it helps to register all of the extensions. It doesn’t cost that much money to register all of the extensions. Most domain registrars give you discounts for registering most of the extensions.
Domain names have become big business. There are a few people who have made hundreds of millions of dollars off of domain names. Most of these guys started off with the profitable name dropping game. They mainly dealt with dot com extensions, but the game is starting to open up. Search engines are making it easier to find web sites. If you can’t get a dot com extensions, you can opt for a keyworded dot net or dot org. This will help you in your SEO efforts. There will be newer extensions that will come out of the new internet economy. Get some really good single word domains when new extensions launch. You should be able to sell them for a nice profit.

Camps.com, cleaning.com, and LT.com all sold the past week. Camps.com sold for $110,000 and both cleaning.com and LT.com sold for a cool $100,000. The economy is still weakening but domain names still seem to fetch top dollars. I like to compare domain names to real estate. When the market is bad, a lot of people try to sell off their investments. They can not afford to keep these investments. So, they are forced to get rid of them at deep discounts. But, the big difference between domains and real estate is that domain names do not require you to continue investing your money. You do not need to pay off expensive mortgages or property taxes. All you need to do is maintain the renew fee for registration.
The next time you think about domain names investing, think about how easy it is to maintain. Domain names are virtual real estate without the expensive mortgage and property tax.

I think that a lot of domainers struggle with developing or not developing a certain domain name. If you only own a few domain name, then you can develop all of them without any worries. But, if you are like most domain name investors, you probably have a collection of domain names that exceed 100. In this case, then the time that is needed to develop a domain name can be a lot. No one in their right mind has the time to develop all of their domain names. That is when you have to think about another plan. You can either park your domain name or set up a mini site. A mini site is useful because it doesn’t take a lot of time.
I usually like to set up a simple wordpress blog on each of my domain name. This helps google id the domain and i can decide if i want to develop the domain at a later time. I can also write a few posts and get paid for blogging. Or, i can sell the blog as a developed site.

I have been trying to get my hands on a LLL.com for a while now. I think that they are really great to have as investments. I wasn’t able to buy one because the ones for sale are too expensive. But now that the market is slowly in a decline, i think that i will try to pick one up. I think that the demand for domains that are all registered will go up in the next few years. You have to understand that the internet is still fairly new. People in developing nations will start doing more business online. More and more people will need a good domain name to start up their business. As far as brandabilty is concerned, three letter dot com domains are as good as it gets.
When i visit a 3 letter dot com domain, i notice it right away. I know that the web site developer has some money. I know that this site will be a quality site. I also believe that even the less popular letters will prove to be valuable. As countries like India and China enter the dot com market, we will see the prices go up.

I have noticed a trend in the domain name market. The dot com domain extension is the most popular domain name extension. Even tho people try to build up other domain name extensions, the dot com variety will always remain king. This is because it is already considered the industry standard. Businesses and major brands have spent a lot of money building up the dot com address. So, it is important to focus on this extension if you want to make money with you domain names.
Most of the good dot com domains have already been registered. If you want to invest in these domains, you should buy and sell in the after market. I have been noticing a trend in some of the dot com domains. It appears that the edomain or idomains are becoming more popular. I even saw a few e and i domains sell for hundreds of dollars. It is probably hard to hand register these domains. But, if you can find a bargain, you should buy them to sell later to an end user.

I have always wanted to do a breakdown of two letter dot com domains. I’ve been getting really into domain name investing in the past year. I know how valuable short domain names can be. I started this blog because i wanted to examine single word domains. I have a plan for another blog. I want to create a blog that showcases all of the two letter domain combos. I want to list each and every LL.com domain name. I think that this will take me around a year or so. But, i think that it will be interesting and i hope that some of you will enjoy the journey. There are lists of these sites already on the net. I haven’t personally visited these sites, but i am assuming that there is cause the internet is so vast. There must be a site like this already. But, i plan to make my site special by making it pretty complete. I will start with AA.com and go until i hit ZZ.com. I hope you will enjoy that blog. I will let you guys know when i get that site started.

The world does not run independently anymore. Each country is affected by another. We rely on goods and services that are traded globally. You can find examples of this during our recent financially crisis. Because of the home mortgage crisis, the global economy is not effected. Because the world is not connected, it is important to try to all get along.
We need to think about the environment as well. We are all living under the same earth. We shouldn’t exploit a developing nations energy resources just because it is cheaper. We shouldn’t export the dirty work to other countries because that country has a less strict environmental law. If we continue to pollute our green earth, we will see disasters in the near future. We can see this already in the weather. If we do not watch out, we will face more natural disasters like hurricanes and tornados. We will see more flooding and dry spells.
Try to think of everything like the world economy. We are all under the same roof so let us try to make the best of it.

Here is a single word domain for ya. Cold.com is on the market to sell for 1 million dollars plus. This four letter dot com domain can be sold to big pharma or ski resort businesses. One million seems a bit pricey for this domain because the monetization possibilities does not seem to be there. But, the vanity appeal is pretty huge for this domain. If any one of you has a million bucks to spare, you should definitely pick up this domain name.
I would price this domain at around half a million dollars. The potential for this domain isn’t as good as let say business.com or money.com. But, the short brandability factor can be valuable. You don’t even need to use it for something that is related to cold. It could be a giant ecommerce site or a web 2.0 site. This domain is going a major label someday.
If you guys know of any other single word domains that are for sell, let me know in the comments below.

One of my friends had a birthday party the other day. I went to say my hello and give my present. I found the condo to be filled with balloons. I guess the boyfriend wanted to be romantic or something. I remember back in my youth, i would try to do these types of things to impress my girlfriend. I thought that these types of things were romantic. I thought that it was something that a good boyfriend would do. I am not older and wiser. And, i still believe that this is true. Women love that you go the extra mile for them. Even if it is something silly like filling the condo with balloons, they like that you took the time to do it for them. It makes them feel precious and special.
At any rate, i saw a few balloons that i thought were interesting. We all know that our world is becoming high tech. We carry around phones that are better and more powerful then computers from a few years ago. I have an iphone that is more faster and stronger then the computers they sent up to the moon years ago. Back to balloons. There was this one balloon at the party that was really cool. They inserted a music chip in the balloon. If you hit the balloon, you get a happy birthday song. It was pretty cool. I imagine that they will continue to make things like this in the future.

There are a lot of tools that a domainer can use to spot out some great domain name deals. Back in the day, domain name investors had to hand write and hand register domains. This was something that was time consuming and really monotonous. Now, they have a lot of software programs that do all the grunt work for you. If you want to find lists of available domain names, you can pay for them on services sites of web forums. There is a lot of web forums that specialize in domain names. If you want to get you feet wet, you can visit one of these forums and start learning the domain game. They also have some books on this subject. In my honest opinion, i think that buying books about the web or computers is a waste of money. By the time you get the book, the web site or coding language will change. I think that the best way to get info is via the web. Just do some searches and read up on domain name investing. Try to soak up all of the info that you can. This market is highly competitive and the potential is high. The only problem is that it is kind of late to start now. But, there are always new opportunities. You won’t find a single word domain, but you can find some two or three word domains that can be valuable.

Namepros dot com is a great online resource for people who are interested in the domain game. If you want to learn about domain names, you should check out the forum that they have there. The people in the forums over at namepros are friendly and knowledgeable. You will learn a lot of things about how the domain name industry is run. If you want to buy or sell domain names, the marketplace at namepros is one of the best out there.
You can also check out ebay auctions for domain name. You won’t find quality domain names, but sometimes you can pick up some domain names for really cheap. I like to buy dot com domains for less then the registration price. If you want to set up a web site for cheap, buy a domain name on ebay or namepros.

I was researching the business potential for domain names the other day. I want to seriously get into this market. I think that most people do not understand domain names. They might register a few domain names, but after they lose interest, they usually drop out of the game. Domaining is not for every one. The competition is high and most of the people who make money off of domains are seasoned veterans. I think that i have what it takes to profit from domain names. I understand the elements that make a domain name valuable. I understand the shifts in technology and the internet. Also, i think that it is fun.
If you think about it, domain investing is a lot like stock investing. It is similar to comic book and baseball card investing. When i was a little kid, i used to rent booths at card conventions and buy and sell baseball cards. I would constantly check becket prices and i even managed to turn profits on my small business. I think that domaining is similar cause it is like a profitable hobby.

I have a lot of domain names that are waiting to be developed. I think that parking them would be a waste of time. I understand how hard it can be to develop all of my domain names. I have over 400 domain names in my portfolio. I know that i need to cut this down a bit. I need to sell off some of the useless ones and just keep a stable of premium domain names. I want to develop a lot of blogs but i know that it can be pretty time consuming. Blogs are easy to start and great for SEO. The only problem is that they are time consuming to update. Writing a post on a hundred blogs could take a few months. Blogs need to be updated at least one a week if you want the google bots to keep indexing the pages.
I have an idea for a domain blog. I plan on writing a blog about two letter dot com domains. Since there aren’t that many combos of LL.com domains. I can write about each letter combination. I have always been interested in these high priced domains and i think it would be a good blog.

What type of mp3 player do you have? Considering that Apple is kind, most likely you have an ipod. Maybe you have more then on ipod. Ipod shuffle, nano, and video.
If you don’t get caught up in the marketing craze and look at just the mp3 players, you’ll find that non ipod mp3 players are a lot better then the ipods.
First, the price. An ipod ranges from 80 dollars to 400 dollars. The comparable non ipod mp3 players start at 20 dollars to 250 dollars. I have a sansa 2 gig mp3 player that is like the apple shuffle. I bought it for 35 dollars. the ipod is only 1 gig and costs 80 dollars. I get double for less then 40 percent of the cost of the Apple product.
Second, the design. Maybe a few years ago, the ipod was the only design friendly mp3 player. But now, a lot of these other brand mp3 players sport hot designs. The ipod is sleek and tiny but honestly…everybody has one. Don’t you want to be different? Wasn’t Apple cool cause it was unique. It’s not so cool anymore cause everybody has it.
Third, technology. As with every other electronic device, the price drops fast and hard. why buy an overprice thing when you know a better ipod will come out in 6 months. Can’t you wait 6 months? You already have an mp3 player so why buy the latest apple?
Fourth, price. It’s too expensive. I mention the price again cause that’s the main reason not to buy an ipod.
Last Christmas people didn’t think this advice but this year, things are changing. The MS Zune is outselling the ipod on Amazon. Good job guys.
Best mp3 players for the price. Dollar for dollar, pound for pound, it has to be sansa players.

Brand name recognition is an important part of the shopping experience. You go into a store and first thing you do is look for different types of brands. You don’t even spend time looking at brands you’ve never heard of. Lets be logical about this people.
Most items come from the same factories. LCD monitors and televisions come from around 10 different factories in China. Meaning that its all pretty much the same thing. When you buy a Samsung or LG LCD television, its probably very similar to the no name TV you buy at Bestbuy or Costco.
I have a Vizio at my house. I love it. I bought it for 3 hundred dollars less the and same size Samsung. I also own a Samsung LCD TV. I like it too but honestly, i can’t tell the different. Maybe my Vizio is better cause it was cheaper.

Leaving a blog unmaintained is better then having the domain just parked but its not that much better. Its better to just post random typings up every few days to get the google bots indexing the site. It also helps your Alexa rank to keep updating it so when you find the time to really work on it, you’ll have a head start with the rankings.

Musical video games are all the rage right now. Nintendo ds has jam session. Xbox has guitar hero. Sony playstation also has its version of guitar hero. The cool thing about domain names is that you can pick any letter or number combination that you would like. Some people like to choose brandable one word domains. We here at single word domain are obviously fans of the single word domain. One word domains are easy to remember and easy to type in. Search engine traffic is easily gained by building some nice links. But, i wanted to take some time on this post to talk about clever and funny domain names. I found a site over at fobgirl dot com that i thought was interesting. I do not know why, but i think the name is brilliant. The domain is easy to remember and fits the voice of the blogger.
I hope that the blog will be updated on a regular basis cause i would like to see what the person is up to. I have always been a sucker for fob girls.

Generic word domains are some of the best domain names to invest in. There is no legal issues to worry about and you can be sure that the prices will go up in the coming years. Businesses and large corporations are always looking for branding possibilities. They will pay large sums of money for domain names that have a lot of traffic and good recognition. All of the good generic domain names have been already registered. It is up to you to look in the after market to get these names. The prices are usually really high for these types of domain names.
But, if you want to cut on costs, you can try to find short two word domain names. A lot of keywords that are popular are two or three words. For example, credit card or credit cards are really popular keywords that people do search for. That is why creditcards.com and creditcard.com demand high prices. If you would like to learn more about domain name, visit us again. Thanks for coming to single word domain dot com.

Do variations of single generic words count as single word domains? For example, does loving.com count as a single word domain. Cause it is a derivative of love. How many such domains are there. Lovingly.com. Lovely.com etc. Something to make you go hmmm.

Single word domain names aka one word domain name are great investments. They are rare to find. Nearly all of them have been registered in the dot com extension. If you ever come across a chance to buy one, i recommend that you pick it up. Generic one word domains fetch a high price in domain name auctions. I don’t have a premium in my collection, but i have several semi premium ones.
If i had the money, i wouldn’t mind buying a pizza.com or a lotion.com. Any short one word domain would be awesome. They have to be dot coms though. Dot net and dot org extentions are not that valuable. If you could grab a single word domain dot org for like 10 bucks, then it’s worth it to snag it. But paying hundred or thousands is probably not a good idea. Not unless you have been in the game for a while.
